I am glad you have overcome your obstacles in your personal life and you are ready to hit the studio. It has been about 11 years since D’Angelo has hit us with an album. Not only that but you will be working with one the best hip hop producers in the game Questlove. D’Angelo is well needed in this R and B game because he gives you that real soul that is not in today’s music. I mean I am not mad at what is out right now but there needs to be a little bit more balance. I think this R and B game has been a lot of Rap and Bullshit. According to the drummer and producer, D’Angelo’s follow-up to 2000′s Voodoo will feature collaborations with bassist Pino Palladino, producer/engineer Russell Elevado, and, of course, ?uestlove himself.
