D’Angelo is well needed in this R and B game because he gives you that real soul that is not in today’s music. I mean I am not mad at what is out right now but there needs to be a little bit more balance. I think this R and B game has been a lot of Rap and Bullshit. D’Angelo is back working on his long-delayed third album, says The Roots’ ?uestlove.
According to the drummer and producer, D’Angelo’s follow-up to 2000′s Voodoo will feature collaborations with bassist Pino Palladino, producer/engineer Russell Elevado, and, of course, ?uestlove himself.
