1000 BARS – I’m Feeling Myself

CelebNMusic247 sat down with comedian/Actress Luenelle from the new animated movie Hotel Transylvania.
Hotel Transylvania kicks off in the scary forest, a place that caters to monsters. Deep in the woods there is a secret hideaway where monsters go to vacation. The hotel is run by Dracula [Adam Sandler] who is celebrating his daughter’s 118th birthday party.
Luenelle shines as the smart mouthed quick-witted Shrunken Head(s) that is on all the hotel doors. However, Luenelle’s main Shrunken Head which is on the Mavis [Selena Gomez] door interacts with Dracula. She gives him a bad time and knows what he’s up to all the time. Luenelle’s character looks out for Mavis in the Hotel Transylvania.
The saucy Platinum blonde comedian knows how to make a scene work even when her character is only a head on the door.
And make sure to stay connected to Luenelle. She is a wonderful lady and will have you in stitches. Besides starring in movies Luenelle stays busy with her comedy tour. She is currently touring right now.

Reality shows are a huge success and taking over TV! VH1 has again scored with Hip Hop fans and aired their new show Chrissy and Mr. Jones, a spin off from Love and Hip Hop. Originally VH1 approached Jim Jones about doing a reality show based on him but instead Jim decided to make a show based around Chrissy, his long time girlfriend. Chrissy, Emily and Olivia were all cast and appeared to be really good friends.
As we all watched the drama unfold last season it became clear Chrissy was the boss and pulled a plug on Yandy’s checks as promised, decided to show Olivia what riding on the fence would get you as she wasn’t mentioned at all in the show and that the other cast members were easy to forget! However a few questions remain…
Will there ever be a Mr. & Mrs. Jones? The first episode of Chrissy and Mr. Jones prove they can carry the show alone! No mention of the drama from previous seasons or the cast members but now the question is were the others the issue! The couple want the relationship to work and love each other but this season promises to reveal the difficulties of getting it right. Eight years into the relationship, 2 engagements, 2 previous seasons and still no wedding bells…not even a date set, no baby and still no 15% of Jim’s clothing business! Is Jim’s proposal just an installment plan? Wonder what Yandy has to say!
The two stars of the show stopped by Hot 97 to talk about the upcoming season of Chrissy & Mr.Jones.
( 4UMF NEWS ) Won’t Back Down Movie Review:
What would you do if your dyslexic child attended a failing school and you couldn’t afford to move or pay for private school?
Set in Pittsburgh, Won’t Back Down is inspired by true events of parents taking control of a public schoolthrough a recently passed law. The Parent Trigger law, which was passed in California and other states in 2010, permits parents to petition to enforce administrative overhaul and overrule administrators in failing public schools. If successful, petitions allow for parents to direct changes like the curriculum or dismissal of staff and it allows the potential conversion of a school to a charter school.
Jamie Fitzpatrick, played by Maggie Gyllenhaal, goes on a quest to turn around the failing school that her dyslexic daughter attends. She recruits teacher Nona Alberts, who’s own son is struggling in his studies, after their children fail to win a spot at a charter school through a lottery. Facing a powerful and entrenched bureaucracy and corruption within the teacher’s union president and the school’s principal, Roberts and Fitzpatrick risk everything to make a difference in the education and future of their children and the children in the community.
Confronted with the reality that one out of four children will grow up in this country not knowing how to read properly, Fitzpatrick is determined not to let her daughter, Malia, become a statistic. With a wide-eyed unabashed enthusiasm she protects Malia from falling through the scholastic cracks like a mama bear protects her cubs.
Academy-award winning Viola Davis plays Alberts, the teacher turned reluctant hero that’s nearly given up on all of her students except her own son. As Alberts goes through a separation from her husband, her passion for educating is reborn and we see the fire grow inside of her. Davis is a master of her craft; the Julliard-trained actress gives another powerful performance worthy of a nomination.
Won’t Back Down should inspire us all to not take ‘No’ for an answer, to not wait for change but be the change especially when something as important as our children’s education is at stake.
Won’t Back Down, also starring Rosie Perez, Helen Hunt and Ving Rhames, will be in theaters everywhere September 28th.
