Dahlia was raised by Cuban-born parents in Miami Beach , Florida, and began rapping at the age of eight and writing songs at fifteen, ripping instrumentals from YouTube in lieu of a band. At eighteen, after saving money from waitressing jobs, Dahlia decided to leave Miami, and moved to New York City a month later “on a whim”. Shortly thereafter, Dahlia became involved in what she describes as a “toxic relationship”, which she would later come to regard as a source of inspiration and “writer’s gold”.

There was once a time when Damon Dash could buy anything he wanted and not think about the price tag. He lived a lavish lifestyle, but those days are over.
While his former Roc-A-Fella Records partner, Jay-Z, is worth nearly a half billion dollars, Dame is on the verge of being out on the street as he faces eviction from his Carmel, New York home.
While in court on Tuesday, the former mogul detailed some of his current financial problems.
“I am currently several months behind in paying my personal bills,” he wrote in the 5-page filing. “For instance, I am currently over $100,000 behind in rent for the only home in which I live and at risk of being evicted.”

Dame was back in Manhattan Supreme Court on Thursday fighting a charge of ignoring a 2008 lawsuit from a garment industry lender seeking payback for a $237,078 loan.
He asked the judge not to garnish his wages citing other financial commitments, such as alimony and child support.
- He pays $24,000 every three months to his ex-wife, fashion designer Rachel Roy, for child support of their two kids, and to cover money owed on the lofts.
- New York state forces Dash to send another $4,341.10 per month for support of his son, Christian.
- He paid nearly $20,000 in garnished wages in late 2012 for other debts.
- And he faces a pending $40,000 tax payment for business earnings.
“I’m an independent businessman and this is what comes from business,” Dash said in an email from his attorney, Gregg A. Pinto. “I have the guts to fight my battles on my own and it’s entertainment to everybody else because I’m so cool about it.”
In 2008 Dame lost his leased SUV after he missed his $714.99 monthly payment. In 2010 he lost a pair of multimillion-dollar Tribeca lofts to foreclosure in 2010

Ariel Castro Held On $8 Million Bond; 2 Brothers Freed In Decade Long Kidnapping, Rape Case Of 3 Cleveland Women [Video]

Ariel Castro appeared in Cleveland Municipal Court Thursday morning and was ordered held on $8 million bond. Judge Lauren Moore calculated bail at $2 million per victim, including the little girl.
The 52-year old is charged with kidnapping Gina DeJesus, Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry and a six-year-old girl whom Berry gave birth to while she was being held captive. He is also charged with raping DeJesus, Knight and Berry.
Castro held two of the women captive in his Cleveland for a more than a decade. The other woman was held for close to a decade

Ariel’s brothers Pedro Castro, 54, and Onil Castro, 50, were released from custody. The two had been arrested after the women were freed on Monday. Investigator don’t believe they had anything to do with the kidnappings.
Ariel has not yet entered a formal plea.

Teacher Olivia Sprauer Forced To Resign From Florida High School After Sexy Modeling Photos Sent To Principal [Pics]
Olivia Sprauer’s teaching career came to an abrupt halt last month after the principal of the Martin County, Florida high school she taught at was sent some of her modeling photos.
Sprauer taught English at Martin High School by day and modeled under the name Victoria Valentine James in her spare time.
On April 29th she was called into the principle’s office and shown a photo that had been sent to the principal. Sprauer admitted it was her in the photo.
The principal asked for her resignation and had her escorted off campus.
Sprauer told WPTV that she wasn’t upset, but does miss her students. Check out some of her photos below.

Male Fan Attacks Justin Bieber Onstage In Dubai

While Justin Bieber was performing a concert at Sevens Stadium in Dubai on Sunday, a male fan managed to get onstage and grab him while he was sitting at a piano.
Bieber was about to sing the closing number “Believe” when the fan came out of nowhere. Security quickly rushed the stage and grabbed the fan, knocking the piano over in the process.
“All is fine,” Bieber’s rep told E! News. “A man ran on stage during ‘Believe’ and tried to grab Justin and knocked the piano over. He was a fan. Security detained the young man. All was fine and Justin continued the show.”
After a three-minute break the singer returned to finish the show.
