Hip Hop Release Hottest Mixtapes Dates

As Maybach Music Group announced some new albums this week, Rick Ross and Meek Mill dropped some big news, while Chuuwee preps his LP and Devin the Dude has an EP coming before his album.

It’s safe to say that this week in the release dates world, the stage belonged to Maybach Music Group. After the press conference last week that announced Omarion was joining the MMG roster (where’s Masspike Miles?), there were a whole lot of other

interesting bits to consider and mark your calendars for. On June 26th, the MMG empire will drop Self Made Vol. 2. Now that the lineup has changed quite a bit since Self Made Vol. 1, place your bets on who will made the compilation cut. A month later, on July 31st, Rick Ross will drop his long awaited God Forgives, I Don’t. Heads were waiting forever for this one, as Ross dropped his Rich Forever mixtape in January to hold everyone over. Lastly, as Meek Mill drops his Dreamchasers 2 mixtape, he also announced his debut album Dreams & Nightmares will drop August 28th, sharing that date with Wiz Khalifa’s O.N.I.F.C. Is that a competition in the works?

Outside of the Maybach world, Chuuwee will be bringing his Wild Style LP on May 29th. Chuuwee just recently dropped Crown Me King and here comes his full length already. There’s some hard work going on. Meanwhile Devin the Dude is prepping the release of his album One For the Road. That’s scheduled for a summer release. In the meantime, Devin plans to drop a six-track EP on May 22nd titled Seriously Trippin. Nothing like an artist who cares enough about his fan base to keep them well stocked in new music. Also dont forget to check out a young artist making moves from LBC T- Kidd dropping his highly anticipated “Linda Like A BIG DEAL” Hosted by Dj Equis .

News : Rap Release Dates: T.I., Kid Cudi, Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa

Sunny loves to see the new music dropping artist are heavy at work promoting and gettiing there collabs ready , that one that pisses me off is the Detox one though Boo on the Dre I mean you should release whatever you have as a mixtape for all I care shame on you dragging us out like this only to say I need a break ……smh any way . I expect T.I. and Jeezys album to be dumb hot though both have alot to prove

T.I. gets an album name, Kid Cudi gets a release date, the Ruff Ryders drop a compilation, and Rick Ross gets pushed to 2012.

A moment of silence for the possibility of Detox. After 27 years of making music (and torturing us about said music),Dr. Dre will be taking a break. Does that break mean noDetox? Probably. So while we were given songs like “die Hard”with Eminem, and a whole bunch of other cuts and random demo tracks, it looks like Detox can finally leave the Rap Release Dates conversation. Onward and upward.

A few album releases have been announced with no dates attached. T.I. finally picked an album name, and that name is Trouble Man. The triple threat emcee, actor, and author was toying with a few names and finally settled on that one. He’ll also be dropping some new music this week to celebrate. Wiz Khalifa  announced an album called O.N.I.F.C.The follow up to Rolling Papers has no said date, but somewhere in between the Taylor Gang Godfather will drop a mixtape called “Taylor Allderdie” Last week we mentioned Chris Brown dropping an album Fortune, but no date yet either.

Kid Cudi  has an album W Z R D that will arrive on January 30, 2012, and will have no profanity so the radio can enjoy it. Old Dirty Cudi loves the children. In other 2012 news, Rick Ross announced he will not be dropping God Forgives, I Don’t in 2011. Within weeks of expecting the album, Rawse changed his mind and now we’re left with empty hands. That’s fine, though, because he and Drake seem pretty serious about this “Y.O.L.O.” mixtape, so hopefully that will arrive before 2020. Before 2012 starts, let’s rewind and take a look at what the last month and a half of 2011 have in store for us.

Yelawolf  brings Radioactive this week (read the review). Wolf has been circulating some songs to the masses, the most recent being :Slumamerican Shitizen “with Killer Mike and “Throw it up” with Gangsta Boo and Eminem. Rihanna also drops Talk That Talk and Mary J. Blige’s My Life II: The Journey Continues. Both R&B vixens grabbed some rappers for their albums. Check out Jay-Z on RiRi’s “Talk that Talk “ and the full version of “Feel Inside “ with Nas. Surprisingly, Ruff Ryders will be dropping Past Present Future this week per Funkmaster Flex’s site. Where was the promo for that project?

In big December news, Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa have added a date for their movie soundtrack toMac + Devin Go To High School. The double trouble stoners have a film coming out with music inspired by and wrriten for the film. Gues appearances include Bruno Mars, Curren$y, Juicy J, and Mike Posner. Get your rolling papers ready.

Mark your calendars for some new additions: Kid Sister’s Kiss & Tell EP on November 29th, Kooley High’s David Thompson on December 6th, and Sha Stimuli’s The Calling on January 12th.
